Sabina Zildzic

Born and raised in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have lived in Sacramento now, for a long time. Photography saved my life so many times. Even as a child I would go everywhere with a camera. I am a strong believer that photographs are the only thing in life that brings the feeling of the past and ensures the future will be told. I have been in a photography community most of my life. I have taken many photography courses at Sacramento City College, Consumes River College, and many other classes offered thru local galleries. My photographs have been juror selected for multiple exhibits at View Point Gallery in Sacramento and the Crocker Art Museum in Sacramento.

I let the light guide me to snap the best shot either with natural light or in the studio. I am inspired by shadows, shapes, lines, and the sparkles in peoples eyes. It brings be a great amount of joy to capture memories for families and individuals. I take photographs every day. Taking photographs feels very natural for me.

As far as my gear goes. I use a Sony alpha 7R iii with various lenses depending on the situation and the setting.
